On March 8, 2013, Liz presented on employment-law topics at the Home Care/Hospice Manager Certificate Programs in San Diego, California, on behalf of The Corridor Group.

On September 25, 27 and October 2, 2012, Jason presented 3 3-hour seminars on the Affordable Care Act, all of which were extremely well-received and timely. 

On May 8, 2012, Liz presented a seminar entitled “Recent Changes and Important Highlights in Wage & Hour Law as it Relates to Home Care.” The seminar was presented at the Pasadena Convention Center in Pasadena, California.

On March 8, 2012, Liz and Jason presented an all day workshop for CAHSAH entitled “Proposed New Rules and Changes in Wage & Hours: How it Could Affect You!” at the Radisson Hotel in Ontario, California.

On March 6, 2012, Liz presented an all-day workshop for CAHSAH entitled “Proposed New Rules and Changes in Wage & Hours: How it Could Affect You!” at the Courtyard Marriott Midtown in Sacramento, California.

On April 30th, 2011, Murphy Law Group sponsored a California Heritage Museum Gala, to raise money for both the museum and its programs.

On March 24, 2011, Liz lectured as a faculty member for CAHSAH’s Home Care Manager Certificate Program entitled "Human Resource Practices and Employment Law Overview for Home Care."

February 24th, 2011, Liz presented a workshop for CAHSAH entitled "Town Hall Meeting: Wage and Hour Issues." This program was held at the Hilton Pasadena in Pasadena, CA.

February 22nd, 2011, Liz presented a workshop for CAHSAH entitled "Town Hall Meeting: Wage and Hour Issues. The program was held at the Doubletree Hotel & Executive Meeting Center in Berkeley, CA.

September 24, 2010, Liz presented an all-day workshop fro CAHSAH roughly entitled "Navigating the Wage Orders: Understanding What they Mean, and Practicing Real Responses to Real Wage & HOur Issues."

August 5, 2010, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., Liz presented a Webinar for the Employer Resource Institute entitled "How to Handle Employees' Attitude Problems: Coaching, Discipline and Termination."


May 6, 2010, at 9:45 a.m., Liz spoke at CAHSAH's 2010 Annual Conference & Home Care Expo, on "Navigating the Wage Orders: Personal Attendant Exemptions, Recordkeeping Requirements, and Pay Stubs for Home Health Care Employers."  This presentation was designed to walk employers through the pay stub and recordkeeping requirements set forth in Wage Orders 5, 15 and 4.  The program was held at the Sacramento Convention Center.

April 1, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., Liz presented "Human Resources Practices Overview and Employment Law Overview for Home Care," presented as part of the Home Care Manager Certificate Program administered by the California Association of Health Service At Home ("CAHSAH").  This program provided a general overview of key employment law principals for managers and owners of home health care providers, and was held at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, California.  

March 31, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., Liz presented an "Employment Law Overview" as part of the Hospice Manager Certificate Program administered by The Corridor Group.  This program provided a general overview of key employment law principals for managers and owners of home health care providers, and was held at the Sheraton Park Hotel in Anaheim, California.

March 26, 2010, at 1:00 p.m., Liz co-presented a program called "Winning Strategies for Depositions in Employment Cases."  This program was sponsored by Bridgeport, and was held at the Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.

January 27, 2010, Liz presented a Legal Update program for PIHRA, District 1, during which she discussed legal updates in California employment law for 2010. 

Employment Law Basics For Home Health (10/10/2009)

October 10, 2009, Liz presented a three-hour seminar on the basics of employment law for home health agencies.  The seminar was held at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
